About Greyhaven
Greyhaven is a private residence sitting on eight acres on woodland and meadow located a short drive north of Spokane, near Loon Lake. It is Squirrelly's primary venue for rituals. There is plenty of parking and room for primitive camping. The property includes extensive flower vegetable and herb gardens, a large sacred space and a shrine to the Sidhe.
The present owners are Hedge Witches, using the gardens and wild plants to produce magical, culinary and medicinal herbs, wines and meads, salves, potions, teas and infused oils.
Formerly, it was the site of a clay mine. Clay mined there was hauled to Clayton where it was manufactured into bricks. The bricks produced from Greyhaven clays were used to build many of the buildings in downtown Spokane. Now the mine is completely overgrown and only apparent to the more observant eyes. Today the land is healthy and forested again, and most of the old foundations have been buried. However, pieces of metal or glass can still work up through the soil, especially around the sacred space.
